Trim wick to 1/4" before lighting. Crystals can easily be removed after the first burn. When the candle flame has been put out, and the wax is still warm, carefully remove the crystals with a metal spoon onto a paper towel. Your first burn should last between 3 to 4 hours, allowing the wax to melt towards the edge of the vessel. Trim wick before every use.
