ABOUT THE CREATOR

I'm Caroline, the artist and heart behind Goddess Moon Goods. My journey has been one of weaving together two threads: my education in visual art and a deep dedication to spiritual exploration. This fusion is the very essence of every product I create. I was raised among the mystical coasts and forests of Pebble Beach, California, and now draw daily inspiration from the vibrant, potent mana of Maui. These powerful natural environments are two foundational muses for my art. 

I am a classically trained artist, and earned my Bachelor's degree in Visual and Public Art from California State University, Monterey Bay. My focus in college was Mixed Media Art, and I was deeply honored to graduate in 2018 with the prestigious Distinction in the Visual and Public Art Program, an award of excellence unanimously voted upon by the art department's faculty. 

My primary medium is intuitive collage work; where I layer my photographs, paint, drawings, and elements of texture to include botanical elements, sacred symbolism, and archetype exploration. My art is an act of visual myth making, reassembling pieces of ancient knowledge to create new symbols and inspiration for modern devotion. 

Parallel to my artistic training, I have also dedicated myself to the study of sacred mysteries and metaphysical healing.  

  • Certified Tarot Reader (2011) trained in the symbolism and traditional teachings of the Rider-Waite tarot deck by Barbara Stott in Bend, Oregon
  • Apprenticeship of School of the Sacred Wild (2020) with a focus in folk herbalism, seasonal rituals, moon cycles, and holistic herbalism taught by Marysia Miernowska

Goddess Moon Goods is a reflection of my background in mixed media arts fused with my passion for metaphysical, crystal, and color healing. Every journal, candle, and creation is an extension of my artwork and is intentionally created by me to be more than just objects, but tools for transformation.

My process is deeply intuitive and meditative. I source antique items and found objects to incorporate into art pieces and altars. I tap into a collective consciousness of divine feminine imagery, and create windows into mystical, dream like worlds with color, collages of my photographs, texture, and light. Years ago, I started using the term "altar art",  as I see my art and products as a visual prayer, a first touchpoint of a ritual experience. 

The goddess archetypes, color healing, moon rituals, and crystal energy encoded into my products are the same themes I integrate into my artwork, and live and work with every day. It is my hope that these creations serve as beautiful, potent allies on your own journey, helping you to connect with your own intuition, and the magic of nature that surrounds us all.
